participate in water aerobic as long as they can safely get into a
pool. Many physically challenged individuals have enjoyed the
exercise offered by water aerobics.

You do need to be careful while participating in water aerobics
because it can lead to dehydration so please drink plenty of water
before the water aerobic class, and after the class is over. The
chlorine in the pool water can cause your skin to dry out so take a
warm shower and then apply lotion to your skin to moisturize
it.
The low-impact, gentle exercising of water aerobics is a perfect
exercise for those suffering from arthritis. Swimming can be
refreshing, reduces the occurrence of overheating from exercising
and does not require any special skills so that anyone of any age
group can participate in water aerobics.
Water aerobics is usually offered in most community pools and
YMCAs. If you should live in a community that does not currently
offer a water aerobics program but has a pool you can tell them all
about the fitness benefits of water aerobics and encourage them to
offer this excellent fitness opportunity to community members.
