An Interesting Spiritual Healing Fact
Dealing With Suffering
Where is God when we are suffering? Many people have asked that question. When God created us he made us perfect until sin was brought into the world. When sin was introduced, suffering followed. It is no longer a perfect world and we can all expect some suffering in our lives. Why is it that some people seem to suffer more than others? Why do some people have to endure constant pain and slow death from cancer? Why do Christian marriages break apart and cause suffering for adults and...

The Islamic Faith and Spiritual Healing
Followers of the Islamic faith used the same methods that early Christians used for spiritual healing. These methods were passed down from one generation to another and are still used in this present day. Islamic healers use both medical and spiritual means to create healing. They follow scientific principals with devotions, meditations of the prophets, and the power of messengers and wise men.
The prophet Muhammad cured people but first asked if they had sought help from medicines. He said that for every disease there is a cure except for old age. There are many verses in the Koran that deal with specific diseases and conditions. Each is credited with a different healing property.
Spiritual healing deals with the energy field that surrounds each of us. This energy field is given different names in other religions and spiritual practices. Most religious groups believe that our Higher Power or a Supreme Being gives our energy to us. This energy regulates our thought processes, emotions, and physical health. This life energy allows our blood to flow and the air to circulate in and out of our lungs. The Islam faith believes this energy field is like a waterfall. If channeled in the correct way it can produce energy. This energy can repair damaged vessels and body parts that have been weakened by illness. Spiritual healers direct energy in much the same way that a doctor directs a laser beam to heal a part of the body. This energy sent to the part of the body that is ill helps that part renew its own energy and healing begins.
Spiritual healers use an inner approach when it comes to healing while the doctor is mainly concerned with the physical body. A spiritual healer may also have another important diagnostic tool called High Sense Perception. It is a way of discovering problems beyond what they see with the five senses. High Sense Perception is also called clairvoyance. The healer senses the part of the body that is in need of healing. Since the healer knows where the illness is he can also show them how to reverse the process. Healers use spiritual energies and auras in finding their diagnosis and meditation is becoming the most popular way of entering an expanded state of consciousness for Islamic healers.
Medical tests prove there are physiological changes when a person is meditating. Scientists find by using an electroencephalogram they are able to detect an increase in alpha and theta waves in the brain. These brain waves are different from those found while a person is sleeping. Breathing and heart beats slow and there is a decrease in the use of oxygen and carbon dioxide elimination. Meditation effects last longer than the meditation period. Many patients with hypertension and other anxiety, stress related diseases canceled their medication after practicing meditation. This is well documented and recorded in many books and manuscripts. Meditation by the patient allows the body to be more receptive to the healing energy directed to it by the healers. |
